Samsung to use Imagination

Consumer electronics colossus Samsung Electronics has signed up to use intellectual property from computer chip designer Imagination's PowerVR SGX MP multiprocessor graphics family. Samsung will distribute Imagination's technologies in multiple systems on chip, targeting mobile and consumer markets, the firm said. Under the terms of its licensing arrangements, Imagination receives licence fees and royalty revenues on systems on chip, incorporating Imagination's intellectual property.Imagination's share price rose 0.37% to 463.4p by 09:06.NR
