Sept 2 (Reuters) - Investment bank Barclays Plc said on Wednesday it had hired Zach Jordan, previously amanaging director at Citigroup Inc's global energy group,as a managing director in its natural resources group, based inHouston.
Jordan has more than 15 years of experience in investmentbanking, with a focus on the upstream and midstream oil and gassectors. He also has covered energy-focused private equityfunds.
"Zach has an outstanding track record and excellentpedigree. His broad expertise and comprehensive coveragebackground mean he will fit perfectly with our origination-ledbanking model," said John Miller, head of banking for theAmericas at Barclays, in a statement.
Jordan has worked as lead bookrunner on the initial publicofferings of PennTex Midstream Partners LP, USDPartners LP, Eclipse Resources Corp, MemorialResource Development Corp and Athlon Energy.
