(Alliance News) - Alcoholic spirits maker Distil PLC on Friday said that Miton Group PLC has halved its stake in the company.
The disposal was completed during a transaction on Wednesday. Fund manager Miton previously held a 10% interest in Distil.
On Monday, Distil launched a ready-to-drink RedLeg Spiced Rum drink with premium soft drinks maker Franklin & Sons. The beverage, which has a 5% alcohol content, will soon be available at an unspecified major UK national retailer, Distil said.
Shares in Distil were 8.6% higher at 0.95 pence each in London on Friday afternoon.
