KCom Group appoints Jane Aikman as CFO

(ShareCast News) - Communications and IT provider KCom Group appointed Jane Aikman as chief financial officer, with immediate effect on Monday.She will stand for election by the shareholders at the company's meeting in July 2017.Aikman, a qualified chartered accountant with Ernst & Young, was previously CFO and chief operating officer at Phoenix IT Group until its acquisition and merger with Daisy Group in July.Prior to Phoenix IT Group, she was CFO at a number of other companies including Infinis, Wilson Bowden and Pressac. She spent five years in south east Asia with Asia Pulp and Paper Co and three years as an internal audit manager with GEC Alsthom.Chief executive Bill Halbert, said Aikman will bring relevant industry experience and will give "fresh perspectives to discussions" on the board and at senior leadership level.Aikman replaced Paul Simpson who resigned from the company on 30 September, as planned.Shares in KCom Group were down 0.83% to 120p at 0821 BST.
