Jersey Oil & Gas Awards Greater Buchan Area Development Contracts

(Alliance News) - Jersey Oil & Gas PLC said Monday it has awarded contracts for the development of the Greater Buchan Area in the North Sea to Rockflow Resources Ltd and Petrofac Facilities Management Ltd.

Rockflow Resources is an oil & gas-focused consultant, while Petrofac Facilities Management is a subsidiary of Petrofac Ltd, a FTSE 250 oilfield services provider.

Under the contracts, Rockflow will provide support in subsurface evaluation, while Petrofac provides facilities and well support for the upcoming concept selection phase, of the GBA development project.

The Greater Buchan Area is located in the UK Continental Shelf region of the North Sea.

"I am delighted to announce the award of contracts to both Rockflow and Petrofac. We look forward to building on our valued relationship with both companies as we progress through the critical concept selection phases of the Greater Buchan Area development project," said Chief Executive Officer Andrew Benitz.

Shares in Jersey Oil & Gas were up 2.3% at 225.00 pence, while Petrofac's shares were 0.3% lower at 385.00p on Monday in London.
