WPP PLC - London-based advertising and marketing agency - Appoints Angela Ahrendts as non-executive director, effective from July 1. Ahrendts was the chief executive officer of luxury goods firm Burberry PLC from 2006 to 2014, leaving to head up global retail for Apple Inc until April of last year.
