Solid State PLC - Worcestershire-based computing products manufacturer - Says revenue for year ended March 31 was GBP67.4 million, up 20% from GBP56.3 million in financial 2019. Pretax profit was GBP4 million, up 43% from GBP2.8 million. Will pay a final dividend of 7.25p, down from 8.3p, but therefore maintaining annual dividend payout at 12.5 pence. Says decision on final dividend due to current market uncertainty but says intends to increase dividend next year, depending on the market backdrop. Looking ahead, Solid State says that while it is currently experiencing some slowdown in order intake, it believes diverse sector exposure and strong open order book will provide some resilience. Order book as at May 31 stood at GBP37.9 million.
