NWF Group PLC - Animal food manufacturing company - Reports pretax profit growth of 38% for the year to the end of May to GBP12.0 million after revenue grows by 2.4% to GBP687.5 million. NWF increased its payout by 4.5% to 6.9 pence a share. The company reports market share gains in the Fuels and Feeds units and solid operational performance in Food. Going forward, NWF said it will continue to consider acquisition opportunities, building on its track record of acquiring and integrating businesses, as well as investment in organic development. Performance to date in the current financial year has been in line with the board's expectations. Overall, the board continues to remain confident about the company's future prospects.
