IN BRIEF: Evgen Pharma appoints Huw Jones as chief medical officer

Evgen Pharma PLC - Liverpool-based clinical stage drug development company - Appoints Glen Clack as chief medical officer effective from May 1. Says Clack has held various roles at AstraZeneca PLC over the past 20 years. He specialises in early phase oncology clinical development, and has experience in conducting and managing clinical trials.

"As we progress further with our clinical programmes, Glen's depth of understanding in the fields where we are active will be invaluable. Glen will also be a key member of the team involved in leveraging our relationships with our many partners. His unique skillset has seen him take responsibility for a number of large, complex projects and he has published over 50 academic papers on various cancers," says Chief Executive Huw Jones.

Current stock price: 8.08 pence

Year-to-date change: down 21%
