HomeServe appoints new non-exec director

(ShareCast News) - Chris Havemann has been appointed as non-executive director at HomeServe, the home emergency and repair services provider said.In a statement released on Tuesday, the FTSE 250 group confirmed Havemann, who held the role of chief executive at online survey data collection group Research Now and at online marketplace Rate People, will join HomeServe on 1 December."I am delighted to welcome Chris to the board," said group chairman Barry Gibson."He brings with him a wealth of experience in the digital space which will be of great benefit as we continue to develop the business."HomeServe shares were down 0.73% to 419.60p at 0823 GMT on Tuesday.
