HgCapital Trust buys Dext for GBP10.5 million from Augmentum Fintech

(Alliance News) - HgCapital Trust PLC has acquired pre-accounting software firm Dext, it said on Monday.

HgCapital Trust paid Augmentum Fintech PLC GBP10.5 million for Cheshire-based Dext while institutional clients of HgCapital will invest a further GBP2.1 million.

Private equity firm HgCapital Trust specialises in technology buyouts primarily in Europe and the US.

HgCapital Trust shares were quoted at 338.40 pence in London on Monday morning, up 0.7%. Augmentum Fintech shares were trading 0.2% lower at 167.65p each.
