Georgia's c.bank to tighten monetary policy until inflation stabilises-governor

TBILISI, Sept 19 (Reuters) - Georgia's central bank plans totighten monetary policy further, if there is pressure oninflation from depreciation of the lari currency, the centralbank governor said.

Koba Gvenetadze told Reuters in an interview that heexpected annual inflation to be above the target level of 3% andto reach around 5% by the end of this year.

He added that expected economic growth in 2019 is seen to bearound 4.5% and current account deficit to decline to 4-5% from7.7% in 2018.(Reporting by Margarita Antidze; editing by Katya Golubkova)
