Tue, 23rd Feb 2021 09:26

(Alliance News) - Domino's Pizza Group PLC on Tuesday said it appointed Stella David as an independent non-executive director, with immediate effect.

The fast food pizza delivery chain said David will be a member of the remuneration and nomination committees.

David is a non-executive director of Homeserve PLC and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. She was previously chief executive officer of Scotch whisky maker William Grant & Sons Ltd and global chief marketing officer of rum maker Bacardi Ltd. She has also served for seven years as a non-executive director at Nationwide Building Society and until recently was chair of C&J Clark Ltd, a UK-based footwear manufacturer & retailer.

"I am delighted to welcome Stella to the Domino's board. She brings huge experience of value creation with high-profile consumer branded companies, coupled with a depth of experience from serving on the boards of other listed companies. Her appointment marks another step in our process of refreshing the board and increasing board diversity," said Chair Matt Shattock.

Domino's Pizza shares were trading 1.5% higher in London on Tuesday at 320.80 pence each.
