Man Group PLC - London-based fund manager - Chief Operating Officer & General Counsel Robyn Grew sells 400,000 shares at 161.71, worth GBP646,860, on Thursday.

InterContinental Hotels Group PLC - Denham, England-based hotelier - Non-Executive Director Richard Anderson buys 7,000 American Depositary Receipts at USD71.73, worth USD502,076, on Wednesday. Each ADR represents one ordinary IHG share.

Rio Tinto PLC - London-based miner - Peter Toth, head of group Strategy & Development, sells 3,149 shares at GBP64.78, worth GBP203,991, on Wednesday.

Braveheart Investment Group PLC - makes strategic investments in companies it thinks will outperform - Chief Executive Officer Trevor Brown sells 1.2 million shares at average 57.41p, worth GBP688,875, on Thursday. Now has 6.4 million shares, a 17.4% stake. However his stake will rise to 7.6 million shares or 20%, upon admission of 1.2 million new shares next week.

Mercia Asset Management PLC - Warwickshire-based "proactive, regionally focused, specialist asset manager" - Non-Executive Director Diane Seymour-Williams buys 250,000 shares at 29.75p, worth GBP74,375, on Wednesday. Seymour-Williams joined the board in November. Forward Nominees Ltd, an entity associated with Non-Executive Director Ray Chamberlain, sells 830,000 shares at 30.00p, worth GBP249,000, also on Wednesday. Mercia AM says the shares were by non-Chamberlain family shareholders, and none of the shares sold were held personally by Ray Chamberlain.

McBride PLC - London-based cleaning products maker - Chair Jeff Nodland buys 84,000 shares at 82.68p, worth GBP69,451, on Tuesday.

finnCap Group PLC - London-based stockbroker - CEO Samantha Smith buys 130,000 shares and Chair Robert Lister buys 65,450 shares, both at 30.5p and together worth GBP59,612, on Friday. Smith now has 16.1 million shares, a 9.3% stake, while the purchase is Lister's only holding.

Electra Private Equity PLC - London-based private equity investor - Non-Executive Director David Lis buys 15,000 shares at 335.18p and 331.02p, worth about GBP50,000, on Thursday.

Shield Therapeutics PLC - Newcastle, England-based pharmaceutical firm focused on iron deficiency - Carmen Hasler, wife of Chair Hans Peter Hasler, buys 200,000 shares at GBP0.37, worth GBP74,750, on Wednesday.

City of London Investment Group PLC - asset manager - Non-Executive Director Tazim Essani and spouse Kevin Magner buy 5,350 shares in total at GBP5.20, worth GBP27,820, on Wednesday. The shares are Essani's only interest in CLIG, having joined the board at the start of February.
