Sensyne Health PLC - clinical technology company - Launches its first operational artificial intelligence algorithm for real-time hospital management of patients, co-developed with Chelsea & Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Says SYNE-OPS-1 is a cloud-based system that provides real-time operational decision-making support to NHS managers through an hourly risk forecast of the expected number of future intensive care unit admissions, and the future demand for ventilators. This is based upon an analysis of clinical data on Covid-19 patients being admitted to hospital. Notes SYNE-OPS-1 is now being marketed to other hospitals in the UK and US.
