(Alliance News) - Modern Water PLC late Monday said it received its largest single order of USD335,000 from an unnamed customer in China for its Microtox CTM product.
Microtox CTM is a broad range monitor which measures the chemical toxicity of a water source, giving an indication of water health.
The equipment will be used for new hydrological and water treatment stations in Shanghai, the company said.
In addition, Modern Water said it signed a collaboration agreement with water and environment management specialist Ion Exchange (India) Ltd.
Ion Exchange will integrate Modern Water's proprietary brine concentration technology and forward osmosis technology in its projects across India, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, the company said.
Shares in the water monitoring technology company closed up 12% at 1.28 pence on Monday.
