Online video services provider Amino Technologies posted an operating loss compared with a profit the same time a year before as challenging economic conditions continued hit the group. The group reported an operating loss before exceptional items of £3.10m for the six months ended 31 May 2009 compared with an operating profit £0.61m before. Trading in the first two months of the current second half had been encouraging, it added. Revenue was hit by a slower than expected recovery in the US telco market, the group added. Revenue fell 12% to £12.80m.Looking ahead the group said, "It is expecting the strong order momentum to continue in the remaining months of this year and expects the second half will benefit strongly from the revenue growth strategies and cost cutting measures implemented."
