IN BRIEF: Aggreko takeover clears antitrust and regulatory hurdle

Aggreko Plc - Scotland-based power generator manufacturer - GBP2.32 billion takeover by Albion Acquisitions PLC clears certain antitrust, regulatory and foreign investment approvals. The takeover has been previously approved by Aggreko shareholders and was first agreed in early March.

A Scheme Court hearing is expected to take place on August 6.

Albion Acquisitions is a company newly formed by funds managed by Miami-based private equity firm I Squared Capital Advisors US LLC and investment funds managed by London-based private equity firm TDR Capital LLP.

Current stock price: 866.65 pence

IPO-to-date change: up 38%
