In an in-depth interview with London South East, Tower Resources chairman, Jeremy Asher, tells us that early stage discussions have started with an oil major about a potential exploration partnership in offshore Namibia. Asher reckons we’ll have a good idea about where those negotiations are going by the end of the year.
Tower Resources is also talking to potential partners for its Cameroon assets. Asher says theres’s been ‘plenty of interest’ from potential partners and he’s looking for an investment of around $12 million. In return, Asher is ‘ready to give a pretty large chunk’ of the licence, but not a majority stake.
