You missing the coming increases in divi and costs of synergies .
As someone who owned shares in Ladbroke from the start in 1967, and whose family have a holding in GVC, I am struggling to see what is happening to value in what has been put together here. Others may have a better understanding of the position.
GVC paid a reduced £3.1bn for Ladbroke Coral (having bid £3.9bn dependent on the slots outcome). Earlier they paid £1bn for Bwin and ££485m for Sportingbet. GVC had a value itself before all those bids. According to FTSE 250 the market cap of the combined business is now around £3.5bn.
The shares have come down from £11 to under £6. What am I missing about GVC, other than their edge on the technical side and the prospect of something unquantified in the US (assuming betting shops are fast become old hat).
3100 trades today. Th st is a lot of money at over 600 a pop. Anything afoot?
Presumably their figures which remain healthy and the tie up in America
Sold out of GVC earlier in the year as a disappointing run in Q4, but still keeping an eye on, seen a few brokers tipping it to double. What’s the reason anyone know...
Why the big drop at close ?
Lots hope the momentum keeps building....another strong move north this week I hope.....
Dividend in Sept
Been tilling son in-laws bathroom today but very pleased with GVC NowI’ve had a quick check before close
DRIVER are you still sitting tight, I recon this will run for couple of weeks now
Still early days but looks like me adding circa 599 was the right move....well actually it was a no brainer ...and it is still a very strong buy from here...GLA
If Tom Watson and Labour get in, ( heaven forbid) the price of any shares will be the least of you problems,
I got burned after originally buying at 9.38 ouch, back in at 613.....and preying
I got in @534p a short while back & am happy to top up under 600p with 7 broker ratings all at strong buy with target prices of up to around 1125p.

Driver I didn’t have time mate I am plastering again today so sort of piping in and out intermittent today
I have gone in all in I know it is a bit stupid,I bought on opening bell at 629 and got burnt, I have doubled my hold plus some at 600 and now averaged at 613....
Time for me to add I think....this is ridiculous and well over done....
Thought you would of taken profit.
Compass, thank you for your reassurance, I don’t expect it to get there quickly but £8 sounds good to me.
Looks like there’s a lot of profit takers on the jump up this morning but I’m in for At least a few months.
To me it's a strong buy, so I don't quite understand what's going on this morning.
Im sure we will be seeing the 10-15% boys exit with their profit... but I do feel 3-6 months and we could see £8.00 GLA
you will not go wrong @5.99
I haven’t posted here before but have been reading all your comments with interest.
I’ve been keeping an eye on GVC since the end of March and it now appears to have stabilised from the Hefty fall from August last year.
Based on it being well oversold on the RSI and STOCASTICS the daily chart I have finally made the decision to take a position at 599 so I’m also hoping the trading update will give this a boost.
GLA Ken
BINGO... excellent trading update we already new what the £2 machines would do....and even those are not as bad as first thought, way ahead on everything else should see a nice push north......strong buy as I said £6.00 SP is not justified GLA...
Trading statement today......online should be smashing it...but your high st bookies needs to close quickly, no place for these anymore they are empty and no real point now with the £2 machines I still think they have a place maybe inside bingo halls alongside a mini casino ....the company that can close them the quickest and most economically will win along with massive online presence and GVC certainly have that....not sure what the trading update will have but GVC will win through eventually its a strong buy for me....
Ready for tomorrow, Wednesday?
Candlesticks closed closed in a party mood tonight and have started a rockin' and a rollin' already. So not expecting a bad or lack lustre post-close-update reveal tomorrow. Expectations are good in my mind.
- Ah said goo-oood!
How long that lasts is another thing but all being well, it 'could' generate some nice SP momentum right through into August and the actual official trading update release.
I'm upbeat going into Wednesday, are you?
