City trader - nope you can legally force them to hand it over or you open Stemprinter UK Ltd if you don't want to waste time.... take it for what it is.
I agree CC. Heard of that before, in fact an acquaintance of mine does it (slightly different as it’s all around planning applications for him).
As I said, buying company names and “extorting” them on, became outlawed in 2013, so maybe this guy was approached due to his knowledge and “diversified”.
Its my belief that someone is just trying to sell the company name to TILS. A chancer if anything.
Tils development from that point won't take any external funding, it could possibly be privately funded by Gabriele who will take more stock in the firm , i'll be up for that all the way, although at 40% he won't need our approval and after a successful buyout of Stemprinter Ltd everyone will love him even more.
If you dig a little deeper Mr McDonald sets up companies, I have seen another guy who does this for a Billionaire in another Co I have an interest in, its how they set them up off the shelf them pop them off one at a time.... this other guy set up 156 newco's in a week, I trawled through them until I found the one I was after, im sure Mr Mcdonald is the same ...
Very hard for someone to hold on to a company name in order to be a pain they changed the rules n regs on that and internet IP, plus this isn't Gabriele's first rodeo, nobody's mug he has spent 7 years getting to this point since he sold out his last firm - give the guy some credit, do some research - or dont, it doesn't matter.
Look at what the BOD tell you then check that against real world transactions when 2 + 2 = 4 and the CEO owns 40% of the company you go with the flow and buy as many as you can afford to hold for up to 12 months but I think within 6 this will make Gabriele Cerrone a billionaire and a few of us very happy.
Then we will still have Tils for them to develop which won't take as long as Stemprinter and Spare have.
Lol. Fair enough Martyboy, you and Safy might be right, although according to the article I clicked on, the practice of buying up company names and selling them on was outlawed in a new Companies Act in September 2013, the same year that was written.
Who knows.
Try googling postman Duncan Macdonald from Wales who registers company names to sell.
Look at the names of companies registered at the address.
Agreed D-G.
Also Stemprinter.com and a .co.uk domain names have both been owned since 2016. They were last updated in October 2019 and expire in on 1st November this year.
Was about to write 'too much of a coincidence' when your post popped up!
'Stemprinter Limited Changed from Residential Property Finance Realisation Limited 11 days ago'.
Unless it's someone trying to grab the company name just to be a pain..
Look the address up on companies house. It’s beyond doubt for me. Lots of companies registered there.
Too much of a coincidence for there to be nothing in it Safy imo.
I’m reserving judgement for now. McDonald could be anyone, used as a holding name till official directors etc appointed. Register the name with Co’s House in March 2020 and It’s there when/if you need it.
Time will tell I guess.
Whimax
It’s totally the wrong company LOL
This is not Tils!!!!
Great find CC. Thanks for sharing.
Actually....
That’s registered to an address in Wales and it has 1 director. A Mr McDonald.
I’m not convinced that is the Tils newco.
Top post coffee cups!!
TILS no brainer Co being split into Tils and Newco - Newco was set up in March 2020 and is called Stemprinter LTD the new owner of Stemprinter and Spare... Pharma Buyout £5 min Stemprinter, then keep the Tils shares for Therapeutic medicine side of biz.
