Yes Maverick and McDade IS interested in oil. Ian Cloke posted on linkedin that they wanted to be the partner of choice for the major oil companies and governments in West Africa where Major oil companies are offloading their assets in the Energy Transition
Hence the name AFENTRA (African Energy Transiation)
McDade MUST know what assets he likes from his time in Tullow who would have partnered with Majors a lot in West Africa
Andrew Austion of Kistos has already said that he isnt interested in Oil, only Gas and New Energy, so i doubt that there would be any merger with SEY & KIST
Yes normally Mid April for results
Seems kind of lazy to cut and paste from a Kistos document!
Also, the new name is a bit too close to Afren for my liking.....
Still, am watching this story with interest, with a view to jumping on board at some point, possibly, as long as they don't take on Osman Shahenshah
Annual results usually around middle of april so due any day anyone enlighten me?
Sterling have somehow used the Kistos Electronic word document for the articles as when you download the document you get Kistos Plc sprawled on the name of the doc !
Is there a merger ? I would prefer not :
But : Although Kistos plc have announced a €220m takeover of Tulip , Andrew Austin is still only Non Executive Chairman . Might he install Paul McDade as the overall Group CEO after combining the West African focussed team with the North Sea team ?
Think I would prefer it to be a coincidence and McDade with full control over his own destiny to multibag this cash shell
