good luck with getting anything like a plan or forecast out of Hall et al. Won't ''lead with his chin'' or do rns's.. marvellous!! All you get is ''in line with internal forecast'' ha ha!
Spelling out the plan and what next would be good for all of us as at least management can be measured against it. I think they will need more strings to their bow in addition to what they already have or else sell and call it a day as an independent company.
Addressing the problems of the past 5 years and then just plodding along as is would be a rather sad destination. Improved, but sad and none too good for shareholders as without a pushing forward goal companies tend to wither.
So, SB, is the 5 yr plan just to address the challenges of the previous 5 yrs and then start as if from scratch in a better place or is there some other destination in mind too?
I guess what we all need to know is what comes next as the target, the goal or is that it?
SB
Very useful recap on the last few years, the business models and goals are clearer now ....no results as yet
I think the AGM will provide an opportunity to ask the board on what the plan is - and if you read my summary review of the last five years you will see some of the challenges the business has had to deal with - we might not like it but the company needs to regain trust from the PI investment community - we should take comfort that our II investors appear to have that trust. SB
The lack of clarity from the company on what the 5 year plan is actually targetting to achieve is a concern.
YHAL, yes the end of the 5 year plan guarantees nothing, I think it was conceived 2 -3 years ago to manage the expectations of investors so no major increases in the sp are expected until end of 2021. The thinking is that with rising sales of increased quality and rising renewals we will significantly increase our revenue, profits and DUMS, the figures and fundamentals of the business will be such that the markets reassess MMX as regards inward investment. I think there is a fair chance this will happen but not necessarily at the end of 2021 and all is dependent on the gtlds experiment continuing, this also is not guaranteed. Also these now recessional times will ****** the chances of a buyout. So nothing is going to change anytime soon.
"Just off to see O'Reilly dear". I've been laughing at that episode and all the others for more than 30 years - quite brilliant. Hope I'm not going to be posting here for 30 years. You do wonder though.....SB
Have considered sending my man Wharton over to T Hs office with Basil Fawlty’s gnome. BW
