The dna would sure recognise family members Jonathan.............!
but the tech will be able to also, I don't know........... face rec, finger print, the QR code..........!
get ya family registered, and share.............. :)
All the best (same for serious football fans.......... :()
If the reader recognised a person's dna, then all we'd need is a national dna database to eradicate the chance of cheating. If only the big brother watchers would let us...
It's yet another swab test....from ICT
https://www.ictdiagnostics.com
Cheeky feckers have said: "ICT is obtaining CE registration, allowing legal distribution of tests in this market. ICT also communicated to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Health Secretary Matt Han****, Cabinet members, and Parliament"
Chesh, as usual you have gone all radio rental on me, I guess it's your default when you've lost it (again). Never mind you carry on in your own in little bubble world....and btw you started this with you family of 4 post earlier which made me think what if....anyway it's done now. We can all go back to sleep again now....zzzzzzzz
Guys it’s a pointless argument. As mentioned if some twat wants to lie about a test it will happen and could happen with any test. It seems a redundant argument which can be applied to anything.
Dude.............. you know I'm negative, and that I'm you mate.............?
how do I know, your not positive, and the scum of the earth............?
All the best (take me test, by all means............ I'll pop it it in the reader........... :()
https://www.prnewswire.co.uk/news-releases/ict-international-announces-availability-of-covid-19-rapid-antigen-test-to-the-uk-and-europe-833853974.html
LONDON, Oct. 27, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- From London ICT is responding to a growing need for an accurate alternative to expensive and slow PCR tests, ICT International is bringing Rapid Antigen Testing to market, a game-changer for the global pandemic.
Mike Mulroy, ICT in the U.K., commented, "There are three great strides we have to take against coronavirus: Accurate testing (achieved with PCR), faster results with reduced costs whilst maintaining required accuracy levels (which ICT International's test provides) and a vaccine."
Clinical trials show a relative sensitivity of 97.3%, equivalent to PCR tests used by authorities around the world. This test does not need expensive laboratories or equipment.
Mulroy said, "This is how you return to normal. Fans can watch rugby in the stadium or go to a Grand Prix. Queue safely with common sense before entering, segmenting positive testers. Aviation and tourism employ over 3.8 million people, worth over £257 billion to the UK economy. Travel restrictions could be lifted as only those who test negative would be allowed in. The job losses, insecurity, and rising cost of benefits is why this test is vital. It is time to restart, and ICT's testing can let you."
William Miller, at ICT in the U.S., explained, "This does not replace PCR testing, which has a different methodology, but instead augments it. It can be administered at airports or hospitals where speed matters. Up to four times the amount of tests can be administered with our product compared to a costly and slow PCR test. It is simple to conduct, easy to read, highly accurate, and inexpensive." Miller continued, "We have just filed with the FDA so we can help open air travel on this side of the Atlantic. We want to get cruise lines open, Disney and Las Vegas casinos up and running at full capacity, safely."
ICT is obtaining CE registration, allowing legal distribution of tests in this market. ICT also communicated to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Health Secretary Matt Han****, Cabinet members, and Parliament. ICT has been producing accurate diagnostic testing for 30+ years, leading the way in various fast and affordable tests (such as HIV). Tests are developed and manufactured in an ISO-certified facility in South Africa and used in 56 countries.
Chesh let me make it simpleton for you...if you were my mate, I know you are negative but I am not so I give you my breathalyser and you do the breath test and let me have the breathalyser back so I can get it analysed and get me a negative result...result I can go to footie game with my 24 covid free pass....comprende ??? do the math as they say in the good ole us of a....yeeha
One positive Newuncle.............!
is all I'm saying.............. work it out............!
All the best (needs to be read is the clue............ :()
Chesh, you missed the important bit mate, the breath test can be done anywhere you like, in bed at home, in the bathroom, in the pub and by anyone with the breath tester which contains the chip to be analysed later...the actual analysis of the chip is done at the site of the reader kit where yes the chip is indeed inserted and then disposed of...need to think outside the box sometimes...like what the bad guys do.
I don't charge Chrysalis1........... :)
I do this as a hobby............ :()
All the best (although...........if a job is in the offing........... :)
Well ........ I think now is about the time you should ask for a 10% commision Chesh !!! :- )))
Newuncle.............. :)
that wouldn't work anyway...............!
in order to get the test result from your 1st pal, its retained in the reader, and biohazardly disposed of.............!
My point was same breath, over same chip, for results on x4 peep (family)..............!
All the best (no worries hun, q answered anywho........... :()
@Chesh, I suspect the bottom line would be less affected, as society would ensure that everyone gets tested much cheaper if part of a group using a single test. We could easily add in extra mouth pieces to remove the risk of transmission from one person being contaminating the mouth piece.
Society benefits immensely as the cost of a POD (group) test is reduced and so more people may well test daily and lead to more and more identification and isolation early. It would be very easy, and quick, to test everyone of the POD if the test of the comes back positive.
@Chesh may actually add to the bottom line if a family test was done daily, as the cost for a full house of a test each might be beyond the reach of the average family, but wold ensure that more people test everyday and reduce the risk of transmission so much quicker and faster, and cheaper for society
Hi Gerry, No I wouldn't. I was just putting it out there as a potential risk that some might be so desperate to be able to travel or go somewhere they could find a way to get someone to do the test for them, just like people have with driving tests, immigration tests, sitting exams and so on. That risk could apply to any so called COVID19 passport system in the end not just DVRG's.
Fanks Gerard.............!
save me from ridicule, like I'm bovered..............!
So there may be a market for a family home test kit, ie Surname related phone Q pass...........?
All the best (impact on the bottom line, soz, but make it even more accessible to lower income.. .............:)
@Newuncle the benefits to society far outweigh the risk of a rogue selfish idiot. Honestly, stupid or otherwise, if you knew one of your mates had symptoms and asked you to take a test to allow him go to the football, would you, risking yourself, your extended family and workmates, just for the selfish friend who cares about nobody?
@Paulcon62, this is precisely the functionality of the breath test. What if an annual checkup involves a test for throat or lung cancer? What is you wish to confirm whether you have a viral or bacterial flu, or perhaps TB, getting the best treatment instead of trial and error?
Hi Gerry, I know but not everyone has the same moral standards as us of course.
@newuncle if the intention is to cheat, you will cheat, at the risk and health of your friends and associates. The same thing applies to any test, HIV for instance for safe sex is as good an example of putting others at risk.
@Chesh, Not a stupid thought at all.
The objective is to capture the virus using the binding agent on the nano-photonic microchip. If you blow on the chip 3 or 4 times (or 15-20 times as 4 to 5 family members), and the transfer the microchip to the scanner, if the virus is present, then that is what would be detected and all members of the family would need to isolate.
Or reverse that idea, a family or group of four friends want to go on holiday or attend an event knowing one of them is Covid positive but they get only one person to do the test, they are negative so they repeat all the tests for the whole family or group of friends have a "negative result" even though only one of them actually took the test. Oops......same could apply in any circumstances, I can see it now with someone who is positive but desperate to go to a footie match who gets a friend to take the breath test for him, he gets the negative result gives it to his mate who goes along to the scanner pops in the chip and hey ho he is good to go...have we found a potential loophole in this test for those who are tempted to cheat the system?
A stupid thought maybe, but I'll put it there, if only for ridicule and entertainment.................. :()
A family of x4, buys just one breathalyser, to share, and also shares the chip............!
simple terms, all four get tested, and any positive test is recorded............!
The family of x4 would have to isolate anyway........! if just one member tested positive, and going to an event with a positive test in the household would be a no no.............!
All the best (thoughts...........? :)
