Hmmm, meanwhile Pictland 25m x 2 shares have changed hands at 2.80. Nothing happening huh? You did say 'They just seem to plod along without actually doing much'.
Do you know who the counterparties are Pict?
My point was that ARB and CLP are night and day. ARB are excellent at what they do. At the moment, CLP are talking about doing this that and the next thing. They just seem to plod along without actually doing much. Until they actually start seriously mining BTC, then there is no comparison whatsoever. It's like a new mining company starting up and people comparing their share price to Rio Tinto. The CLP share price won't start increasing longer term until they actually have a business which brings in revenue and profit. The value of BTC is pretty much irrelevant if you don't have any.
Personally, I don't see BTC holding the lofty value long term. Blockchain technology is where there is potential, but the current cryptocurrencies are a get rich quick blip as far as I am concerned. Gold will always have value, BTC won't. If (and still very much a big if) the future of transactions is a form of cryptocurrency rather than FIAT currency, then it won't be BTC which is used and it won't be something that fluctuates so wildly in value. BTC may well still be used, but the value just now is purely down to speculation. It will crash and burn at some point in the not too distant future, maybe when the current market bubble bursts even.
Davethedumplin thanks for sharing. ??
There are a very good number of daily trades for a company of this size. A good sign.
I hope we see that 3p today, even a closing price near 2.7 or 2.8p will be a good platform to build for tomorrow, going into next week.
Tick up. Let’s have that 3p finish
Pictland, ARB has shot up along with BTC rising. When CLP first tried BTC mining it was 5k per coin, during the BTC winter.
Now things are different. Very very different. Furthermore, as Mongolian miners are being shut down by the Chinese, efficiency for all other BTC miners has improved, as reflected in ARB's most recent RNS where mining margins increased from 71% to 81% from memory.
I hold ARB too and am fully aware of their history. Thats why I am here.
Nasdaq listing yet to come
Bluehope. Yep it was that cheap not many months ago. I got some around 3p but now average 6p. I would have been happy with 25p by now so current price the mutts nuts for early investors. £10 by year end
ARB has only shot up over the last few months.
Hope so BashM. I would love to have another Arb. Mining right now is in a sweet spot though. It’s going to get tougher. Arb were so smart using hydro and being in the colds of Canada, it made them so competitive with costs.Italy might be tougher.
go to the ARB board and look under the tab 'share price' it will show you the highest and lowest price
ARB was 2.7p on 18th March 2020
DIFTK
52 week low???
Where did you get that information from?
Argo has jumped multiples.
I agree re ARB. CLP are not in the same league as ARB. They are probably the best in the business at what they do. Whilst anyone with the funds can look at mining cryptocurrency, it doesn't mean they will automatically become an ARB.
The main thing for increasing the CLP share price is for to them to start generating some revenue. Maybe getting money from a court case is good, but they actually need to start doing something that generates revenue and profit.
Buy low sell high. Why wait till the price goes up?
In response to your comments splatted, this is early doors for CLP, but if Argo can come along quickly after such a short space of time why can't CLP follow on a similar journey. Once they have some additional funding there is nothing stopping them investing quickly on the proposed set-up. Once they begin mining that will give them a revenue stream. Maybe other private investors or ii will look at their initial foundations and further invest to allow them to grow. I like CLP in the sense they are keen on building the foundations and if they succeed in the short / medium term, it will be real game changer for the company.
Just topped up earlier at 2.77p so have about 850k shares at average of 2.44p
I tend to top upto a million shares but will wait for it to settle around the 2.80p to 3p.. I I expect another level then fairly shortly.
Thanks for the info Dave!
And good tip for the noobs, Quant.
Any new investors here, remove your stop losses going forward or you could be liquidated by flash crashes.
Stops are targeted on fast moving stocks by our friendly MM's they can see them all.
The comparisons to Arb are a bit silly. Arb were silly cheap at 6p ( that’s why I bought a million ) current price £2.70 is still a little low. They are worth that because of how far they have come so quickly. Clp will be very fortunate to emulate Arb. I will be happy with a five bagger here
The strange thing is arb’s 52 week low was 2.7 which is pretty much what we are here
Now look at arb’s SP
I’m very happy to stay in here and just watch this grow and grow

I read yesterday (not sure if it's true) that if the buyer isn't a resident within the UK, they're able to purchase 5% of a publicly traded company before a TR1 is required.
Either way it's been getting progressively more exciting here over the past few weeks.
I can see FOMO kicking in hard this Friday, and next Monday/Tuesday before the court case settlement is received on Wednesday.
After buying in ARB at 15p and selling at 45p, i won't be making that same mistake here haha.
Good luck all, hold you nerve.
see the TR1 to see who bought the 35,000,000 shares....nearly 4% of the business.
