Bottomz - care to comment on placing shares being flipped.
Makes much more sense that this is going start happening now as sp creeps above 2p.
It’s only retail investors picking up these shares having a punt now and off the back of some ramping
Hi Girdz,
Adverty have offered this functionality for a short time.
Others have had the in-game menu for up to a year.
sensetalka
1. Today proves that nobody outside the board room can `anticipate` whats coming.
2. Pubguard acquisition means Bids offering is top draw when it comes to built in security to identify and defend against offensive, malicious, illegal ad content and malware which can be blocked at a clients' discretion.
Sense talk - I suggest you go through all the RNSs from 2019 and dyor.
Pointless making a call from these BBs.
Bottomz is head of PR at bidstack, and I’m a paid deramper (apparently). Every one else in between
I suspect Bidstack already have some contacts and surely have considered this.
It really would expand the offering and not be purely reliant on mobile games.
Always best to diversify where possible
Hello Girdz, I've just come on here to ask 2 questions
1. What's on the horizon in terms of anticipated news here
2. Do these have a USP, I see you have already answered that so thank you.
Anyone else have any comments on the above?
I'm happy to do my own research and have been doing all morning but these bulletin boards can sometimes act as really good sources of this kind of information.
Really interested here, though have reservations if there's no USP. Does it stand out from a competitor at least i.e. by being the easiest to work with or having best quality etc...
Thanks in advance
yes - finally a positive! i agree in expansion to other app genres - but all in good time. - get it successfully working / generating decent revenue for games first.
Ok. How about this as a positive.
Perhaps bids need to adjust their strategy slightly and extend this offering to lifestyle apps like fitness, food and & drinks, music etc.
Granted some of the bigger apps like map my run already have sponsorship but smaller ones do not.
This is not just (or shouldn’t be) reserved for games.
Easily be extended to other mobile app menus
Helx2, I can`t be bothered to take him off filter, it`ll only be the same old baseless made up drivel about the future.
He`s probably still a bit tetchy about selling BIDS at c1.7p only to put the funds in POLX and see the price crash, losing 33% in the process....still carrying an open sore on that one, and just had salt rubbed in it with todays RNS.
Cracking start to the week...yeh, amazing Bottmzup..2.1p how utterly great. Wait for the next charity fund raising event and see how cracking it all is.
don't spin every point you make in a negative fashion - this is great news today!
Don’t say it’s unique when it’s not.
Fact
yeah that's it - keep trying to hold this one back. Shame you keep messing up the right entry point.
It's a superb bolt on to Bids' offering irrespective of its conception.
https://adverty.com/news/adverty-invents-and-launches-new-in-game-brand-advertising-format-with-seamless-in-menu-ads/
Shame it’s not unique and adverty already been doing it for over a years.
Thought Bidstack were the trail blazers here
Thanks for the cool water pour Gridz. This is great news - hugely innovative & obviously a full roll out will need to occur. What a great way of clearing out the competition by offering a unique in-menu ad system - app devs will love this.
Calm down helx 2.
This is good news. I agree.
How ever it is implemented in 1 game so far.
Let’s see how quickly it’s rolled out to all the other games, and how quick they can get the ads on.
Then we can start thinking about how it will generate income towards ye figures
what a great idea - seamlessly implementing ad spaces into menus as opposed to seeing all the other tripe banner ads that are always popping up / overlapping (at times) menu systems detrimentally impacting the functionality of apps.
Bids are onto another winner - bye bye the 1ps for good (hope you all filled yer boots!) Happy Monday all.
Thanks, I'll have a look. Interesting that there's nothing on the website about it.
Go and have a look at PDC darts and you can see “broker ground” on in game menu.
Broken ground is a motion labs games but you can obvs see where they are preaparing for this ad format
Is this in any game yet?
Sensetalka, I understand this to be the case. A couple of years ago Bids ran a trial campaign with Subway on a similar basis, which was highly successful. You can find this on the Bidstack website, it was successful in increasing orders at local Subway outlets, so was proven to work in that case study.
Hello HivedOFF, that is my question as well, "in-game" adverts, does that mean if you're playing an open world game and see an advert for dominoes you can click order and it will be delivered to your door in real life? That's how I see the future of in-game advertising and wondering if todays RNS is just that?
Interested in this company and just beginning do do some DD now so forgive my basic questions please
A couple of weeks ago I queried the ‘Buy Now’ tab on a banner in the Mr Bean game, for a Samsung Galaxy ad. I was wondering whether it was interactive and would enable you to be redirected to purchase the phone, presumably this is just that?
Wow, what a cracking start to the week....
"I believe the launch of our in-menu ad format is a material step change in how Bidstack is able to generate cash by having "always-on" open marketplace revenues for the first time.
And I like this line...
"We expect to be able to announce the release of other ad formats in the near future which we expect will further add to the significant growth in intrinsic in-game advertising revenues we are currently experiencing.
Well done James Draper and the whole Bidstack team....`working with quiet efficiency`!
I wonder what Bonnie and Clyde are going to say about this one, I might even take them both off filter to read their priceless gems :-)
This is NOT a Reach announcement by the way, its a full fat RNS!!
