That would be a 79-80% rise from todays SP which would be nice.
Then I would need a little 40% rise from there to break even.
Tasty....
Feel for anyone that sold.
i know its no good for most holders but Zak Mir targeting 0.45 for the sp in the next few days. Good for recent buyers though.
No stop loss, but managed to sell c.100k shares on opening for 4.5p. That was via T212. Unfortunately the shares I bought through my broker in the placing went to the floor. As couldn’t deal quick enough
That's a stomach churner, horrible.
I didn't have a stop loss, but was online at 8am frantically trying to sell, but it only let me place a negotiated order, that took about 10 mins to go through and got a price of 1.1p. Whilst I was painfully watching the price go from 3p...2p...1.5p... etc.
Unfortunately I didn't see time and sales for the first 10 mins mate, clicked on the screen to see the carnage later but the move down was brutal I wonder if anyone could comment on if they had stops and at what prices they were filled ?
@Elsteve, I understand that mate, but this didn't gap down.. in fact IIRC this went briefly blue on start as investors saw we hit oil. Others started selling realising this wasn't going to be commercial. Took all of 10 mins or less to get to about 1p.
The problem is that setting a stop loss on an AIM stock if you hold the underlying in size won't help you. If the market gaps down below 4p you will be filled at whatever price the Market Makers give you, if you get filled at all, so don't beat yourself up too much.
Hey can follow me back on twitter so I can dm you please
Biggest mistake was not setting a stop loss here.. at least at 4p when the sp was at 5p, lesson learnt!
Apologies for off topic as ADV holders have really been royally shafted but yes I can understand that re BENS CREEK is going to be a monster!!! Would never have all my money in one company though. No matter how much they are producing now that is just asking for trouble!!
Thanks for that and will have a look, Advance Energy is just proof not to have everything in 1 share unfortunately.
Markeurasia I held Ben and it might do well and it’s up to you how you invest but one lesson I have learned over the years is not to put everything in one share to avoid getting wiped out completely, especially in early stage oilies. As of yesterday I’m down around 20% this year as I still have a large position in ADV and other shares have also pulled back a bit. I concentrate my investments in around 5 large share holdings (by size TGR, TM1, SpectrumX to list March, ROQ, ADV) plus a few smaller ones EISB and another 4, which makes matters pretty volatile for example +65% in 2020 and +55% in 2021, but where a single disaster does not mean game over. All, ADV included which I keep here , are long term and I usually buy them when they are with a very small mcap (see @Stefano_shares on Twitter if you like).
That’s gonna be my full investment now.
