Another example of how the T line works.SRT May have missed the boat.In order for this thread to work and help everyone it needs the posters to draw attention to high probability trades BEFORE price takes off. At present this thread is getting 124 views a day but only 3 posters who are actively posting tips. Remember 70/80% success rate. There will be some false starts as this chart shows so keep stop losses tight and watch those spreads. DYOR Good luck trading always.
have a lovely christmas and a prosperous new year lefk
RIO TINTO I drew attention to this on the 10 December. Hope some of you enjoyed the ride yesterday and today. Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year to all the 125 daily viewers of this thread. Good luck investing/trading always.
CNEL. Updated chart see below. Price still hovering around 2p and still closing below the T line 8ema so not a buy as yet. Maybe after Christmas or perhaps the new year to vindicate the ramper's view. Harry if still monitoring don't pull the trigger yet, otherwise tieing up dead money that could have been used elsewhere like RIO or PMO..Good luck investing/trading always.
Link does not work because LSE have deleted what appears to them is a swear word with 4 * The deleted letters are lowercase, lowercase, upper case, upper case. copy the link to word substitute the 4* and link should work. GLA
This thread is not for AIM shares only. Good money can be earned on mainstream also and far less risk.
Apple's chart is looking interesting. Bottom of range looking to close above the T line. One to watch. Good luck investing/trading always.
LEFKOSIA, this is really to see if I can post prorealtime charts without showing my personal details:
NewForestLad posted the following chart on his thread which looks interesting.
Here is another T-Line player, EME has to be my favourite share so far since I have been trading. Its been my most successful one too by some distance, no surprise there then. One of the best things about following any share is after some years, you get better at knowing how it can re-act to the indicators and news. With EME, it can be pretty reliable on the RSI and the Coppock Curve indicators. So it will be interesting to see how it responds to Lefkosia`s T-Line, I had already bought in on the New Day High`s and got in at 4.75p
I much prefer looking at prorealtime charts than the ADVFN format. If indeed, this works and I do not inadvertently share my details; bank details and favourite food, then I could ask others to help me fine tune my budding chart skills (I realise this is not the purpose of the thread, but two birds and all that.
e.g. I saw you flagging RIO as interesting. I also like this RIO chart but would not buy in until it passes that 2065 other descending wedge line. Any thoughts?
Good evening AdJshares. I only use ADVFN charts to illustrate potential trades.I use IG's charts for trading but have not been able to post them here. I was using MoneyAM's charts to post here but realised my personal details could be revealed so I asked LSE admin to delete all of them.
I try to keep my charts as simple as possible i.e. candlestick reversal pattern and the 2 emas. Stochastics and volume charts kept off main chart and only used to compare with price but not for decisions. I may add support and resistance. Don't use any other patterns such as wedges, head and shoulders etc. Regarding RIO I will use T line for trigger. Leaving entry to 2065 is leaving it too late as it is one of my profit targets subject to the 2 ema's. Good luck investing/trading always.
Good morning all. I trust everyone had a good Christmas break.
ZOX The dangers of AIM. No matter what the charts and the Tline say one should always check the fundas as well, particularly AIM because of dilution. Caught a cold on this one despite BOD's warning about the price posted on here as well. My trading journal says 'Did not check fundas properly before entering trade. Woke up to £600 odd loss now reduced to £500 at present less £100 profit on new position taken out almost immediately. Hoping to recover loss made on 1st position with second position. Good luck investing trading always.
Lefkosia, managed to finally watch the video, very informative and helpful but a bit of an overload with information.
If you do not mind can you confirm the 6 buy signals and sell signals that were mentioned?
Also if you are using the time limits - what ranges would you use for say a day trade, a week trade, medium and long trade?
Any information you can provide me on this T Line would be much appreciated. I am eager to try this as soon as because I feel sometimes my entry and exits could be executed alot better.
Thanks for the post!
Good morning hawkk. Try watching the video again and again. I do it once a month these days. Also navigate round Bigalow's website. There is a wealth of FREE information and other videos on candlesticks patterns and I'm sure you will find something on the 12 major candlesticks. I have a pdf file on them but it won't copy onto here. I said in my first post that I'm not a teacher as I consider I'm still a student so it's everyone's responsibility to learn candlesticks and to learn strict money management, strategy, planning, risk assessment etc as candlesticks and T line are only a part of successful trading/investing.
Time frames. This is something one has to learn by practice and experience and how one trades/ invests and what you feel comfortable with. See my post to tommytink on the 11 December on the same subject but it is what I use and I have losers or where I get things wrong. Will try and post that pdf on the 12 major candlestick reversals later.Don't forget there will many false starts so keep your stop losses tight. On AIM never be too afraid to take a profit or crystalise a loss before it becomes too big, never chase the train if its left the station, watch spreads some are huge and not worth the risk and watch dilutions/placings, classic example was CNEL yesterday. BTW I use the 3ema to exit trades if crossed at the top of the trend or a fair way above the entry point as sometimes the T line for exiting leaves too much on the table. Good luck investing/trading always.
hawkk. Found this link to SB's excellent explanation of the major candlestick reversal patterns with a plethora of examples for spotting them. 163 pages long. There is no quick way of doing this. Rod Stewart, Lord Sugar did not get where they are today without hard graft and learning their respective businesses. You will have to do the same. That goes for everyone following this thread. Good luck investing/trading always.
MTI Wireless (MWE). Good fundamentals. Chart looks good. Check it out.
Recently had a massive placing so no immediate need for finance (however, there are issues of borrowing more money)
Yesterdays candle was a doji
EMA 8 seems to be on the line
Prospect of commercial production in mid January which should give a bounce
Did however dip to 4.38 on dilution news of 5p placement. Could douple dip to there?
Good evening undisturbed. Thank you for posting MTI Wireless MWE. Unfortunately it is not listed on IG's spread bet platform so I cannot comment on the chart. Good luck investing/trading always.
Good evening AdJshares. Thank you for drawing AUE to the attention of the thread. Could be a glut of shares coming onto the market early next year which may hold price back. Will keep it on the watch list.
Audioboom (BOOM). Improving fundamentals with expected revenue increase in 2016. Chart also looks good.
Good luck. Happy New Year to everyone.
hi L. NFL told me about you. ARS has t-line break.
