HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 12 May 2008 it purchased for cancellation 100,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 289.688 pence per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 20,400,026 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
