HALFORDS GROUP PLC: PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES
Halfords Group PLC announces that on 29 August 2008 it purchased for cancellation 19,123 of its ordinary shares at a price of 286.9779p per ordinary share.
Following the above purchase, the Company have now bought back 22,243,597 shares for cancellation, since the 8 June 2006 when the buy back programme commenced.
