Herencia Resources PLC03 May 2005 Herencia Resources plc Investment Strategy Update Herencia Resources plc (Herencia) listed on AIM in February 2005 with theprimary investment focus on identifying resource opportunities in South America. Herencia is very pleased to advise that it has entered into advancednegotiations to acquire a number of highly prospective silver-copper-goldprojects in South America. These projects, covering an extensive area, containnumerous ancient workings dating back to the Inca Empire and more recentEuropean settlement. The projects are prospective for open pit bulk tonnageresources comprising vein, stockwork, manto, skarn and porphyry stylesilver-copper-gold mineralization. Importantly, the projects appear to have hadno significant modern exploration. The projects are strategically positioned ina stable political environment in good proximity to infrastructure, miningservices, ports, transport, water and smelting facilities. Herencia will provide further details to shareholders when negotiations andcontracts are concluded.
