Statement re: Press Speculation

The Board of 888 Holdings plc notes the speculation in the weekend press and the Company can confirm that it is in the early stages of discussions in respect of a possible transaction involving Ladbrokes.

At this stage there can be no certainty that these discussions will result in a formal offer being made for the Company.

888 will make a further announcement if appropriate.

The company has 345,429,509 ordinary shares of 0.5 pence each in issue under the ISIN code GI000A0F6407.
