Group PLC23 May 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE DISPOSAL OF TELEVIEW DIRECT LIMITED ("TELEVIEW") The Board of N Brown Group Plc is pleased to announce the disposal of Televiewfor £6.3 million in cash. In the year to 26 February 2005, Teleview achieved sales of £5.7 million andgenerated a loss before interest and tax of £0.7m. The net assets wereapproximately £7.3m. The proceeds from the sale will be used to reduce group borrowings.
