Agreement with ORBCOMM Inc.

CML Microsystems Plc (CML), which designs, manufactures and markets a broad range of semiconductors, primarily for global communication and data storage markets, announces the existence of an agreement with ORBCOMM Inc. (NASDAQ: ORBC) for the development and production of a semiconductor chip-set including modem and RF functionality for exclusive use on the ORBCOMM next generation OG2 satellite network. The chip-set solution will be deployed within satellite communications devices for global machine-to-machine (M2M) applications and first production shipments are scheduled to commence in the coming months.
