APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR FOR THE BANK
We write to notify you that the Board at its meeting of March 31, 2014 approved the appointment of Mr. Olusola Oladipo as an Executive Director of the bank, which approval was subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
We are pleased to inform you that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has duly given its approval to the appointment of Mr. Oladipo.
Mr. Oladipo joined the services of the bank in 1995, having previously worked in First City Monument Bank (FCMB) and Prime Merchant Bank Limited respectively.
Mr. Oladipo is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria (CISN) and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN).

RESIGNATION OF SIR STEVE OMOJAFOR AS CHAIRMAN OF ZENITH BANK PLC AND APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHAIRMAN FOR ZENITH BANK PLC
We write to notify you that Sir Steve Omojafor has resigned as Chairman of the Board of Zenith Bank Plc with effect from June 16, 2014.
Also, the Board at its meeting of April 2, 2014 appointed Mr. Jim Ovia as a Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Board with effect from June 16, 2014 which appointment was subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
We are pleased to inform you that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has duly given its approval to the appointment of Mr. Ovia.
Mr. Jim Ovia is the Pioneer MD/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc. He resigned as the MD/CEO in July 2010 following the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) policy which limits the tenure of Bank Chief Executives to ten (10) years with a provision that they could return to the Board after three (3) years.
