Ferry Project Update

Westminster Group Plc ('Westminster' or the 'Company'), the AIM listed supplier of managed services and technology based security solutions to governments and government agencies, non-governmental organisations (NGO's) and blue chip commercial organisations worldwide is pleased to announce that, further to previous updates on the status of repairs to its flagship vessel, the Sierra Queen, in West Africa, the works to the prop shaft have now been completed and the vessel is back in the water commencing sea trials.

Commenting on the update Peter Fowler, Chief Executive of Westminster Group, said:

"I am pleased to be able to report that the vessel is now back in the water and will be undertaking sea trials prior to commencing operations. The Sierra Queen is an impressive vessel and whilst the repairs have taken far longer than anyone would have liked due to numerous local challenges, once she is operational she will be providing a much needed and eagerly awaited service.

"Now that the Ebola crisis has ended and new and existing airlines are expanding services, passenger numbers are increasing and in this respect it is encouraging to see direct services from the UK have once again commenced with a new carrier Fly Salone who started operations this month. The increasing passenger numbers mean that the fast, safe and efficient transfer service offered by the Sierra Queen between the airport and mainland is expected to be in high demand."
