W Resources Plc (AIM:WRES), the tungsten, copper and gold mining company with assets in Spain and Portugal, announces that Beronia Investments Pty Ltd ATF Duke Trust of which Dr. Byron Pirola (a director of the Company) is both a beneficiary and trustee, notified the Company on 24 December 2014, that on 24 December 2014, he purchased 2,750,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.35p per Ordinary Share.
Following this transaction, Dr Byron Pirola's interests in the Company (including related parties) are 155,209,749 Ordinary Shares representing 6.41% of the Company's total voting rights.
