AGM Statement

The Lord Browne of Madingley, the Chairman of Windward Ltd., a leading Maritime AI company, will provide the following trading update in advance of the Annual General Meeting to be held today at 13:00 (BST) at the Windward offices at Mermaid House, 3rd Floor (Southbank Room), 2 Puddle Dock, London EC4V 3DB. "The Board is pleased to report on a period of strong trading and execution against our strategy in FY24 to date, in line with our expectations. We have made further progress in growing our commercial revenues, and renewals for our government segment also remain on track. Within the commercial segment, we see accelerated take up of our Business Intelligence solutions, which allow customers to increase revenues. Recent customer wins include Berge Logistics, OCIMF, Zodiac Maritime and Valletta Bunkers. As previously announced in February, Windward has also expanded its collaboration with the London Stock Exchange Group to provide customers with comprehensive compliance and risk management solutions beyond the maritime domain.

Our AI-powered insights are delivering a tangible impact on visibility, efficiency and cost for key players across global trade. Amid the complex web of maritime challenges across sanctions, supply chains and security Windward is an established strategic partner for governments and enterprises alike.

Looking ahead, we are confident in achieving our stated goal of reaching an EBITDA break-even run rate during FY24, supported by the healthy market-wide demand, successful partnerships and the growing sophistication and breadth of our offering. We remain excited by the opportunity ahead to further transform the maritime industry through bringing both vertical and generative AI solutions to our customers."

Attendance at the AGM

Further to the Notice of Annual General Meeting issued by the Company on 18 April 2024, the Company has arranged for a video conference facility to allow shareholders to follow proceedings at the AGM remotely. The video conference facility will be listen only, other than for Directors (if any attend remotely). Shareholders interested in following proceedings at the AGM remotely through this facility are invited to contact the Company by email at legal@wnwd.com by no later than 10:00 a.m. BST today, 20 May 2024, in order to receive personalised conference call details.

As set out in the Company's Notice of AGM, connecting to the AGM via a video conference facility will not amount to attending the AGM and shareholders will not be able to vote via the video conference facility.
