Completion of disposal of Majestic Wine
Naked Wines plc today announces that the disposal of Majestic Wine Warehouses Limited and Les Celliers de Calais S.A.S, which together comprise the Majestic Retail and Commercial businesses, has now completed pursuant to the terms previously announced by the Company on 2 August 2019. Following this disposal, Naked is now a single brand and pure-play online business that is well capitalised and wholly focused on realising the attractive growth opportunity ahead. As previously announced, the Board intends to pay a special dividend to the level of the FY18 final dividend of 5.2p, details of which will be confirmed in the near future.
