HMRC R&D tax refund
As previously notified on 2nd May 2023, the Company applied to HMRC for a tax refund in respect of R&D losses incurred in FY 2021 and FY 2022 and is pleased to confirm that the Group has now received a refund amounting to £924,774 from HMRC. The money will be used to strengthen the balance sheet, support further development opportunities as well as to facilitate the Board's ambition to return to paying a dividend to the Company's shareholders.
James Dickson, Chairman of Vianet, commented: "We are pleased to have received this rebate in respect of the valuable research and development that the Company has done. We look forward to updating our shareholders on 13 June 2023 with the release of our financial results for the year ended 31 March 2023, and there will be a presentation via Investor Meet Company at 10.30am that day."
