VLRM Markets and Club Deportivo FAS enter into Landmark

Tokenisation Partnership Agreement

Valereum PLC (AQSE: VLRM) is proud to announce that its subsidiary, VLRM Markets, S.A. de C.V., El Salvador's leading licensed Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP), has entered into a landmark partnership agreement with Club Deportivo Futbolistas Asociados Santanecos (FAS), the most successful football club in Salvadoran history.

Club Deportivo FAS - Pride, Passion and Glory

Founded in 1947 in Santa Ana, Club Deportivo FAS is one of the founding members of La Primera, El Salvador's premier professional football league, and has been a constant presence in the league since its inception. FAS has secured a record 19 national championships, underscoring its dominance in Salvadoran football. Internationally, FAS achieved a significant milestone by winning the 1979 CONCACAF Champions' Cup, becoming the first Salvadoran club to claim a continental title. The club has also made multiple appearances in regional tournaments, including the UNCAF Club Championship and the CONCACAF Champions League.

Beyond the pitch, FAS is renowned for cultivating legendary talents such as Jorge 'Mágico' González, who is celebrated as one of El Salvador's greatest footballers. With a passionate fanbase and a storied legacy, FAS continues to be a symbol of excellence and pride in Salvadoran football.

Official Shirt Sponsor of FAS

Under this agreement, VLRM Markets becomes the official shirt sponsor of FAS for the 2025/2026 season, covering both the Apertura 2025 and Clausura 2026 tournaments. The agreement includes exclusive renewal rights for up to two additional seasons, subject to commercial terms. Beyond the shirt sponsorship, the agreement includes joint marketing, press campaigns, fan engagement initiatives, and global investor outreach. FAS will also be featured prominently within the VLRM Markets ecosystem and serve as a flagship case study for future football and sports tokenisation projects worldwide.

Strategic Tokenisation Partnership

In parallel, the parties have entered into a strategic tokenisation partnership, appointing VLRM Markets as the exclusive tokenisation partner for both the club's ownership interests and the Ciudad Deportiva (Sports City) project. This groundbreaking initiative will position FAS as the first tokenised football club in El Salvador, and potentially the first in the world.

VLRM Markets will lead the digital issuance of regulated ownership tokens to current FAS owners, followed by the phased tokenisation of the Ciudad Deportiva (Sports City) real estate and infrastructure development project. These tokenisations will be listed on the VLRM Markets regulated marketplace, enabling compliant and transparent participation from investors and supporters alike.

This partnership marks a significant milestone in phase one of VLRM Markets' Real World Asset (RWA) strategy, which is focused on onboarding high-profile, culturally resonant partners to accelerate platform adoption and trust. As a licensed Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) in El Salvador, VLRM Markets is well positioned to build from a jurisdiction that is globally recognised for its regulatory innovation and embrace of digital assets. By starting in El Salvador, a pioneer in digital finance, VLRM Markets is laying down a strong, compliant foundation from which to scale its RWA ecosystem across Latin America and beyond.
