Re: Outcome of the Board Meeting
The Board of Directors at the meeting held today, i.e. February 7, 2017, transacted the following business:
1. Approved the Audited Standalone and Unaudited Consolidated Financial Results of the Company, for the quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2016;
2. Elected Mr. N.Chandrasekaran as the Chairman of the Board;
3. Appointed Dr. Peter Blauwhoff as an Additional (Independent) Director; and
4. Took on record the retirement of Mr. Jacobus Schraven as an Independent Director
A copy of the financial results together with the Auditors' Report and Earnings Release is enclosed herewith. A Press Release titled 'Tata Steel Announces Changes to the Board of Directors' is also enclosed herewith. These are also being made available on the website of the Company at www.tatasteel.com.
