Director Change 

Tricor plc ("the Company" or "Tricor") is pleased to announce that Lawrence van Kampen-Brooks (46) has joined the Board of the Company as Managing Director and CEO effective today. Lawrence brings with him a wealth of experience in the delivery of trading platforms and associated risk management systems dating back more than 15 years and he will spearhead the Company's push into new areas of trading especially the fast-growing regulated and over-the-counter carbon emissions sectors.

Lawrence was CEO at Equisoft, part of the Reuters Group PLC and more recently at African Tier 1 carrier, Bethlehem Technologies London Limited, where he was instrumental in the establishment of the commercial structures for the delivery of the trading and network infrastructure.  Lawrence remains as a director Svelte.im Ltd and other group companies and also of Neural Telecommunications TC Ltd. Further, Lawrence was also previously a director of Neural Telecommunications (UK) Ltd and Panlok Ltd.

Leo Knifton Chairman of the Company said, "The addition of Lawrence to the Tricor team is an important element of the Board's determination to revitalise the Company by seeking new strategic business areas that can be leveraged to produce significant long-term shareholder value. "

There is no further information to be disclosed under Schedule 2(g) of the AIM Rules for Companies.

In addition the Company announces the appointment of ZAI Corporate Finance as its Nominated Adviser and Broker with immediate effect.
