Board Change
TEMIT announces that Gregory Johnson has decided to step down, at this year's AGM (9 July 2020), from the Board of TEMIT on which he has represented Franklin Templeton since 2007. Mr. Johnson is Executive Chairman of the Board of Franklin Resources, Inc. and until February of this year was also its Chief Executive Officer. The Board is grateful to Mr. Johnson for his invaluable service to TEMIT. As well as bringing to the TEMIT Board the benefit of his many years' experience in the investment management industry, his dedicated service as a director is reflective of the continuing dedicated service that Franklin Templeton provides to TEMIT.
Paul Manduca, Chairman of the Board commented:
"Mr. Johnson has made a significant contribution to TEMIT during his time on the Board. His knowledge of both markets and the investment management industry has helped us in our deliberations and he has been a strong liaison between the Board and Franklin Resources. We must of course respect his wish to step down after 12 years on the Board, but he will be much missed."
