Tanfield Group PLC09 June 2005 Tanfield Group plc ("the Company") Board Changes Following on from the announcement released this morning relating to anacquisition and the appointment of Martin Groak as a non-executive director ofthe Company, the Company announces the following information relating to MrGroak. He is a director of The AIM VCT plc, JGP Investments plc, non- executivedirector of Chaco Resources plc (formerly Gold Mines of Sardinia plc) and adirector of Marker Management Services Ltd. Within the last five years Mr Groak was also a director of Medoro Resources Ltd,Lazarus International Ltd, Lazarus Metal Resources Ltd and Sardinia Gold MiningS.p.A but has resigned from each of these companies In addition, Mr Groak, was a director of Lazarus Metal Resources (UK) Ltd whichwas put into administration in January 2001. The administrator exonerated thedirectors. There is no further information which would need to be disclosed under Schedule2(f) of the AIM Rules for Companies.
