The following replaces the announcement released at 14.25 today (RNS 9198L) in which the total voting rights were incorrectly stated. The correct figure is 17,694,891. All other details remain unchanged and the full corrected announcement is set out below.

Synectics (AIM: SNX), a leader in the design, integration and control of advanced surveillance technology, networked security systems and strategic security solutions, announces that application has been made for the admission ("Admission") to trading on AIM of 5,000 new ordinary shares of 20p each in the Company ("Shares"), pursuant to an exercise of options. Dealings are expected to commence on 22 August 2013.
Following Admission, the Company shall have 17,694,891 Shares in issue, each with voting rights, which figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Service Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules. The Company does not hold any Shares in Treasury.
