Contract Extension

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in the design, integration, control and management of advanced surveillance technology and networked security systems, today announces that it has been awarded a contract extension with Stagecoach, one of the UK's largest bus operators.

Synectics, which has a successful 13-year partnership with Stagecoach, will continue to supply, install and maintain CCTV solutions on Stagecoach's 8,500-strong fleet of vehicles in Europe. In the last three years, the Company has equipped 1,660 new vehicles with the latest on-vehicle CCTV solutions and maintained existing systems across a growing fleet.

The extended agreement will see Synectics continue to support Stagecoach for another year, up to 31 March 2017, and will cover a number of system installations on new vehicles operating across the UK and in mainland Europe.
