SEGRO APPOINTS GERALD CORBETT AS CHAIRMAN-DESIGNATE
The Board of SEGRO plc ('SEGRO', or 'the Company') announces the appointment of Gerald Corbett as a Non-Executive Director. Mr Corbett will join the Board on 1 March 2016 and will succeed Nigel Rich as Chairman after the AGM on 22 April 2016.
Over his business career, Mr Corbett has been a director of twelve public companies, six of which he has chaired. His executive career included periods as Finance Director of Redland and Grand Metropolitan and he was Chief Executive of Railtrack. He is currently Chairman of Betfair, Britvic and Numis Corporation. Previously he was Chairman of SSL International and has served as a non-executive director of MEPC, Greencore Group and Burmah Castrol.

There are no matters in connection with this appointment to be disclosed under section 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
