Result of Annual General Meeting
Scirocco Energy (AIM: SCIR), the AIM investing company targeting attractive assets within the European sustainable energy and circular economy markets, announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company held today, all resolutions were duly passed.

Of note, the new investment policy was approved with 99.6% votes. This now enables the Company to focus on investing in attractive assets within the European sustainable energy and circular economy markets, such as the proposed investment in EAG announced on 14 June 2021.
As previously announced, Jon Fitzpatrick,Non-Executive Director had stated that he would not stand for re-election and following today's AGM, he is no longer a Director of Scirocco. The Board now consists of two Independent Non-Executive Directors, alongside the Non-Executive Chairman and CEO, together with a COO in a senior management role.
Alastair Ferguson, Non-Executive Chairman, commented: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Jon for his contribution to the Board. He has been a key part of launching the new strategy and our transition from Solo Oil to Scirocco Energy. We wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.
Following the AGM today, we will continue to focus on executing our growth strategy, and building on the recent investment in EAG. We will update investors on any development with Scirocco assets when appropriate."
