Director Appointment
Sealand is pleased to announce that Frazer McRae has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company on 24 November
Mr McRae comes from a background in Investment Banking and Foreign Exchange, having worked for Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch in both London and Hong Kong.
Mr McRae has particular skills and experience in building businesses in the fintech area generally and cross-border payment and blockchain specifically. These skills and experience are expected to be particularly relevant to Sealand as it develops its cooperation with WechatPay in the future.
Mr McRae is CEO of Y2P technologies which is a co-signatory to Sealand's WechatPay Agency Agreement that was announced on 8 September 2017.
Mr Nelson Law, Executive Chairman of Sealand, commented:
